Sheeri Distributor Delhi Prepared by Sheeri Tasty and delicious Butter Chicken F R OM T H E K I T C H E N O F FOR MARINATION: • 1 kg chicken • 100 g curd • 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste • 1 tsp red chilli powder • Salt to taste INGREDIENTS: FOR GRAVY: • 4 tomatoes, blanched and grinded to paste • 3 onions, finely chopped • 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste • 25 g cashews, ground to paste • 5 tbsp fresh cream • 1 tbsp garam masala • 2 tsp red chilli powder • 1 tbsp kasuri methi • 100 g butter • 4-5 cardamom pods • 1 tbsp tomato sauce • 6 tbsp LITE HOUSE Rice Bran Oil 5 METHOD: • Add the marination ingredients in the bowl and leave the chicken to rest for 1 hour. • For the gravy, heat the LITE HOUSE Rice Bran Oil in a pan. • Add the onion and sauté well. • Add the tomato and ginger-garlic paste and cook for a while. • Add all the dry ingredients for the gravy and the cashew paste to the pan. Stir well. • Sauté for 10 minutes. • Cool the gravy and grind it into a fine paste. • Meanwhile, fry the marinated chicken till all the water is soaked up. • Before serving, heat Rice Bran Oil in a pan. Add the fried chicken and gravy and sauté well. • Add fresh cream and butter, garnish with coriander and serve hot.
