Enjoy tasty and delicious Veggie Lolly Pop prepared By Mr. Sanjay Kumar Kesarwani FOR VEG STUFFING: • 3 Potatoes (boiled & mashed) • ½ Onion (finely chopped) • 3 Tablespoons of capsicum (finely chopped) • ½ Carrot (grated) • 2 Tablespoons of peas • 3 Tablespoons of sweet corn • 2 Cloves of garlic • ½ Teaspoon of mixed herbs • ¼ Teaspoon of pepper powder • ½ Teaspoon of chilli powder • ½ Teaspoon of cumin powder • ½ Teaspoon of garam masala • ½ Teaspoon of salt • 3 Tablespoons of spring onion (chopped) • ¼ cup breadcrumbs FOR SLURRY: • ¾ Cup of maida • ¼ Cup of cornflour • ¼ Teaspoon of pepper powder • ½ teaspoon of salt • 2 Cloves of garlic (finely chopped) • ½ Cup water OTHER INGREDIENTS: • 1 Cup breadcrumbs • LITE HOUSE Rice Bran Oil (for frying) F R OM T H E K I T C H E N O F Veggie Lolly Pop 7 INGREDIENTS HOW TO MAKE STUFFING FOR A LOLLIPOP: • Take three potatoes in a large bowl. Make sure you boil the potatoes and cool them completely before using them. • Also add ½ onion, three tablespoons of capsicum, ½ carrot, three tablespoons of sweet corn and two cloves of garlic. • Further add ½ teaspoon of mixed herbs, ¼ teaspoon of pepper powder, ½ teaspoons of chilli powder, ½ teaspoons of cumin powder, ½ teaspoons of garam masala and ½ teaspoon of salt. • Add three tablespoons of spring onion, ¼ cup breadcrumbs and mix well. Breadcrumbs help to absorb the moisture and prevent it from breaking while frying. • Form a soft dough adding breadcrumbs if required. • Now pinch out a ball sized dough and roll uniformly. Keep it aside. • To prepare the slurry, take ¾ cup maida, ¼ cup cornflour, ¼ teaspoon of pepper powder, ½ teaspoon of salt and two cloves of garlic in a bowl. • Add ½ cup water and mix well forming a smooth slurry. • Now dip the veg ball in slurry and roll in breadcrumbs. • Deep fry in hot LITE HOUSE Rice Bran Oil, keeping the flame on medium. • Fry until the ball turns golden brown and crispy. • Drain the excess oil. • In a bowl, take ½ cup of eggless mayonnaise and two tablespoons of chilli sauce, to prepare chilli mayo sauce • Mix well combining the sauce. • Finally, prick the lollipop using a toothpick and enjoy with chilli mayo sauce.
