1 Beat the heat with summer coolers! he most awaited season is here! Summer is the time for a much needed rest and relaxation. It is often the best time to vacation and bond with the family. There are many different activities to look forward to, like picnicking or staying at resorts. In fact, this is the time when the summer fruits such as mango, watermelon and muskmelon are available! People get a chance to enjoy the sun, but it’s important to remember to stay hydrated. While water is always a great option, try summer coolers to cool you down. T

• In a large kadai, take ripened mango, raw mango and ½ cup sugar. • Add 2 cups of water and stir well. • Cover and boil for 10 minutes or until the mangoes soften. • Drain off the water and blend the mango to a smooth paste. • Pass the paste through a sieve to ensure smooth consistency. • Add water and mix, adjusting the consistency as required. • Refrigerate the mango fruity and enjoy this chilled drink for up to a month. • Peel the whole muskmelon with the help of a peeler. • Cut it into two halves and scoop out the seeds, and then chop into small cubes. • Take a blending jar or a juice jar and add the muskmelon pieces. Set some aside for garnish. • Add ice cubes and sugar. • Add milk as per the desired consistency. • Blend all the ingredients for about 3 minutes. • Pour the juice into glasses and garnish with muskmelon cubes. 5 6 easy tips for keeping skin hydrated! 1. Stay hydrated Your body loses a lot of moisture during summers. So, it is essential to hydrate your body every now and then. Ensure that you drink 10-12 glasses of water each day and increase your fruit intake. 2. Cleanse and exfoliate Cleanse your face twice a day and scrub your skin 2-3 times a week to get rid of dirt and grime from deep within the pores. This is important or your skin won't be able to benefit from moisturising lotions and face masks. 3. Don't forget sunscreen Use a sunscreen whenever you step out. This is crucial as sunscreen helps in shielding your skin from harmful UV radiations that bring about the early onset of skin ageing. 4. Use soothing ingredients on the face A good way to keep your face fresh and cool during summers is to use tomatoes, which are a great source of antioxidants. Mix tomato and lemon juice and apply it all over your face. Alternatively, you can freeze the mixture in an ice cube tray and use that. 5. Use home-made face packs Face packs made from ingredients like milk, honey and oatmeal can do wonders for your skin and keep it smooth and hydrated. You can also try fruit face packs and sheet masks.

This gives time for the rawa to soak in the liquid. • After 20 minutes, the batter should thicken slightly. If needed, adjust the consistency by adding water. • Heat a pan to cook the dosa in. • When the pan is super hot, sprinkle finely chopped onions and then immediately pour the batter in. • Spread 1 tsp LITE HOUSE Rice Bran Oil and roast for 2 minutes or until the dosa turns crisp. • Serve the crispy dosa with spicy tomato chutney. MAKING THE PANEER TAWA PULAO: • In a large tawa, heat LITE HOUSE Rice Bran Oil. • Add cumin, kasuri methi and chilli and sauté slightly. • Add onion and ginger-garlic paste and sauté until onion shrinks slightly. • Once the onion is cooked, add capsicum, carrot, beans, peas and tomato. • Stir fry the vegetables on high flame until they are cooked through but remain crunchy. • Add chilli powder, pav bhaji masala, turmeric, salt and schezwan sauce. Mix well. • Then add paneer and potato, mixing gently without breaking. • Add in cooked rice and 2 tbsp coriander then mix. • Serve paneer tawa pulao with a side of raita.

9 METHOD: • Heat 2 tsp LITE HOUSE Rice Bran Oil in a pan. Add cumin and sesame and sauté until aromatic & add onion and ginger-garlic paste and sauté well. • Add carrot, turmeric, chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala and amchur. • Add potatoes and mix till the masala is well-combined. Keep aside. • Rinse the poha. If you are using thicker poha, make sure to soak it until it softens. • Transfer the rinsed poha into a large bowl and mash it until smooth. • Add the prepared aloo masala, wheat flour, salt and chopped coriander to the poha. Mix well. • Add water as required and knead the mixture into a smooth and soft dough. • Dust the dough ball with flour and roll out into a uniform circle of medium thickness. • On a hot tawa, place the rolled out paratha and cook for a minute. • When the base is partly cooked, flip and cook some more. • Spread ½ tsp Rice Bran Oil and cook on both sides. • Enjoy poha paratha with raita and pickle. • Take the curd and place in clean cloth. Tie it off. • Place a heavy object on it to strain off excess water and keep aside for 4 hours. • Transfer the hung curd into a large bowl & add paneer, onion, ginger, chilli and cashew. • Also add cumin powder, garam masala, pepper powder, salt and coriander. • Add roasted besan and continue to mix till everything is combined. • Take a small ball-sized mixture and shape into a cutlet. • Roll the cutlet over breadcrumbs for uniform coating. • Freeze for 1 hour or until it turns slightly firm. • Deep fry in hot LITE HOUSE Rice Bran Oil, keeping the flame on medium. • Gently fry on both sides until the kebab turns golden brown and crisp. • Drain off the kebab to remove excess oil & enjoy.
