5 6 easy tips for keeping skin hydrated! 1. Stay hydrated Your body loses a lot of moisture during summers. So, it is essential to hydrate your body every now and then. Ensure that you drink 10-12 glasses of water each day and increase your fruit intake. 2. Cleanse and exfoliate Cleanse your face twice a day and scrub your skin 2-3 times a week to get rid of dirt and grime from deep within the pores. This is important or your skin won't be able to benefit from moisturising lotions and face masks. 3. Don't forget sunscreen Use a sunscreen whenever you step out. This is crucial as sunscreen helps in shielding your skin from harmful UV radiations that bring about the early onset of skin ageing. 4. Use soothing ingredients on the face A good way to keep your face fresh and cool during summers is to use tomatoes, which are a great source of antioxidants. Mix tomato and lemon juice and apply it all over your face. Alternatively, you can freeze the mixture in an ice cube tray and use that. 5. Use home-made face packs Face packs made from ingredients like milk, honey and oatmeal can do wonders for your skin and keep it smooth and hydrated.
