These recipes require no gas stove, which are fun for teens and children who loves cooking. Family time is full of fun when eveyone sits together, but today because we all are so busy with our schedules that we tend to forget that. Sandwiches are kid’s best friend. So, this time we are here with the Triple-Colour Sandwich recipe for your beloved kids. • 3 bread slices • few lettuce leaves • 1 cheese slice • ½ tsp crushed/powdered black pepper • 1 tsp eggless mayonnaise sauce • 1 medium-sized grated carrot • 1 tsp green chutney • salt to taste INGREDIENTS: • Firstly, cut all the 4 sides of your 3 breads. Use sides to prepare bread crumbs by just grinding into fine powder. • Now on one bread slice, apply generous amount of green chutney. • Layer it with lettuce leaves on the green chutney layer. Also add the sliced cucumbers too. Now add the cheese slice and some crushed black pepper. • Further, place another slice of bread. Now spread some eggless mayonnaise sauce generously. Add grated carrot forming the orange layer and season it with some salt and some crushed black pepper again. • Place the third bread slice and press gently. Cut the sandwich into half forming triangle. • Serve this yummy Triple-Colour Sandwich to your kids in their snack boxes! METHOD:

• 10 baby potatoes/aloo • oil for frying • 2 tbsp LITE HOUSE Rice Bran Oil • 1-inch cinnamon • ½ tsp cumin/jeera • 2 black cardamoms/badi elaichi • 5 cloves • ½ to 1 cup water • 1 tsp ginger powder • 1 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder • ¾ cup curd/yogurt (whisked) • 2 cardamoms • 2 tsp fennel powder/saunf powder • pinch hing/asafoetida • ¼ tsp garam masala • salt to taste INGREDIENTS: Ms. Hanufa Yasmin Star Director 6 F R OM T H E K I T C H E N O F Taste so good Kashmiri Dum Aloo prepared By Ms. Hanufa Yasmin METHOD: • Firstly, in a large kadai heat 2 tbsp of LITE HOUSE Rice Bran Oil and saute ½ tsp of cumin, 1-inch of cinnamon stick, 2 cardamoms, 5 cloves, 2 black cardamoms, and a pinch of hing. • Turn off the flame and add 1 tsp of kashmiri red chilli powder. Further, add ½ cup of water and ¾ cup of curd. Mix well until the curd is combined without getting curdled. • Now add 2 tsp of fennel powder, 1 tsp of ginger powder, and salt as per taste. Mix well and make sure everything is well combined. • Add all the fried potatoes and mix well. • Now add ½ to 1 cup of water adjusting your desired consistency. • Cover and let it simmer for around 30 minutes while stirring occasionally. After 30 minutes, the curry will separate from the oil and will thicken. • Then add ¼ tsp of garammasala and mix gently. • Serve Kashmiri Dum Aloo with roti/rice. Enjoy!

7 Healthy Granola Bars Prepared by Mr. Dilip Balai Mr. Dilip Balai Silver Director F R OM T H E K I T C H E N O F • 2 cups rolled oats/ENERVA HI-NUTRITION BREAKFAST CEREAL • 4 tbsp Invigo Nutritional Protein Powder (chocolate flavor) • 1 cup chopped almonds/badam • ½ cup cranberries • ½ cup sunflower seeds • ½ cup pumpkin seeds • 2 cup medjool dates/khajoor • ½ cup peanut butter • ¼ cup honey • 1 tsp vanilla extract • 4 chopped apricots • 2 tbsp water • pinch salt INGREDIENTS: METHOD: • Let’s start with a heavy-bottomed pan roast, 2 cups of rolled oats/ENERVA HI-NUTRITION BREAKFAST CEREAL, and 4 tbsp of Invigo Nutritional Protein Powder (chocolate flavor). Roast on low flame until the oats turn aromatic. • Transfer to a bowl and keep aside. Now take 1 cup of almonds, ½ cup of pumpkin seeds, and ½ cup of sunflower seeds in a pan. Roast on low flame until they turn crunchy and transfer to the same bowl. • Now add ½ cup of cranberries, 4 apricots and mix well. Keep aside. • Now in a mixer jar, take 2 cups of medjool dates, 2 tbsp of water. Blend to smooth paste. Transfer the paste to a pan along with ½ cup of peanut butter. • No cook on medium to low flame until it is well combined. Cook well until the mixture turns glossy and separates from the pan. • Transfer the mixture to the bowl of roasted nuts. Also add ¼ cup of honey, 1 tsp of vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Make sure everything is well mixed and starts to hold shape. • Now transfer the prepared mixture to a tray lined with baking paper. Press and level it forming a smooth layer. • Now cover the tray and refrigerate for around 4 hours or until it sets completely. • Cut into the desired shapes. Enjoy these healthy granola snack bars as your morning breakfast or snack!

Add ½ cup of chopped almonds, ½ cup of chopped cashews, ¼ cup of chopped walnuts, 3 tbsp of pumpkin seeds, 3 tbsp of chopped pistachios, and 2 tbsp of sunflower seeds. • Roast everything on low flame until all the nuts turn crunchy. Keep it aside. • In a mixer grinder, take 1.5 cups of dates. Pulse and grind it to a smooth paste. • In a large kadai, heat 1 tsp of LITE HOUSE Rice Bran Oil, then add 2 tbsp of chopped anjeer, and 2 tbsp of raisins. Roast on low to medium flame or until everything turn aromatic. • Add in the ground dates paste and cook it on medium flame. Cook until the paste turns glossy. • Further add the roasted nuts, ½ tsp of cardamom powder, and mix really well. • Mix it all until everything is well combined and starts to hold any shape. Cool slightly, and shape them either into small ladoos or roll it over some poppy seeds giving it a cylindrical log shape. Wrap it in aluminum foil and refrigerate for 2 hours. • Cut it into thick slices. Enjoy your Dry Fruit Burfi for a month!
